Welcome

Julie Gardner, writer, educator, Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) Affiliate and Nationally Certified Life-Legacies Facilitator, has led writing workshops and retreats in the Seattle area for eight years. After a move to Bainbridge Island in 2018, she loves that she now can offer a beautiful and safe space and place for writing.

For seven years Julie led a weekly writing group at Mary’s Place, a day center for women who are experiencing or have experienced homelessness. Some of the women’s writings from the group were published in Original Voices: Homeless and Formerly Homeless Women’s Writings.
